Intern Duties
Details of the projects/duties of this Tourism Marketing and Research position are as follows:
- New business opportunity โ until now they have focussed largely on the New Zealand adventure travel market, but they have decided to expand into the Australian market. There is research to conduct in making product decisions, developing a website, and upgrading the reservation system.
- Upgrade the reservation system โ they have their own custom developed reservation system which they are just about to upgrade. The upgrade will allow the company to do many things that they couldnโt do before and as a result, there is a considerable amount of information that has to be researched and updated.
In addition to these projects, interns will also be involved in the following daily activities:
- Responding to client inquiries
- Researching and updating supplier information
- General office duties
