Zoom and Face-to-Face Interviews

Most of our interviews are conducted online, via a video call over Zoom, providing flexibility and convenience for both you and the employer. This allows you to attend interviews from anywhere in the world. However, if you are already in Auckland, we occasionally arrange face-to-face interviews to give you the best opportunity to connect with potential employers in person.

Valuable Tips and Resources

We offer a wealth of resources throughout your application process, including videos, and guides on various aspects of the interview process. From how to prepare yourself to tips on professional body language, we ensure you have all the information you need to make a great first impression.

Self-Directed Mock Interviews

While we do not offer mock interviews as part of our services, we encourage you to practice on your own to boost your confidence and performance. Here are some tips for conducting effective self-directed mock interviews:

  1. Ensure you have a laptop with a camera:
    • Familiarize yourself with Zoom, as it will likely be the platform used for your interview.
  2. Create a Realistic Environment:
    • Set up a quiet, professional space for your mock interviews. Treat it like a real interview setting to get accustomed to the environment.
  3. Prepare Common Questions:
    • Research and list common interview questions for your field. Practice answering these questions clearly and concisely.
  4. Record Yourself:
    • Use a camera or smartphone to record your practice sessions. Review the recordings to observe your body language, tone, and clarity of answers.
  5. Practice with a Friend:
    • Conduct mock interviews with a friend or family member. Ask them to provide feedback on your responses and presentation.
  6. Time Yourself:
    • Practice answering questions within the typical time limits of an interview. This helps you manage your responses effectively during the actual interview.
  7. Review and Refine:
    • Regularly review your answers and adjust them based on feedback and self-assessment. Focus on improving areas where you feel less confident.

Continuous Support

Our support doesnโ€™t stop at the interview stage. We are here to assist you with following-up after the interview, feedback review, and any other guidance you might need to secure your internship. Your success is our success.
