Marketing & Communications Internship
We are seeking one or two marketing and communications interns to support the delivery of a big event in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland. This internship offers hands-on experience contributing to a national industry event, with a strong focus on writing, editorial work, and audience-facing communications.
Specific duties:
- Supporting the development of written programme content, including session descriptions and speaker bios
- Copywriting, proofreading, and editing across web, social media, and audience communications
- Drafting and refining ticketing and audience engagement communications
- Assisting with social media planning, including writing copy and scheduling content
- Contributing written content to campaign roll-out, including newsletters and promotional materials
- On-the-ground support during the event, including audience-facing communications and live content capture
- Assisting with post-event communications, including drafting summaries and reports
Ideal skills:
- Strong copywriting and editing skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- High attention to detail, particularly in proofreading
- Ability to write clearly for different audiences and platforms
- Interest in marketing, communications, events, or the screen/creative industries
- Experience with design programmes (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva) is a bonus
