Internship position

This company was established by a group of artists and designers with the dream of being able to supply high-quality artworks at an affordable price. This dream is now a reality with a gallery in Auckland and many artworks being displayed in over 150 local cafes, restaurants and even banks around New Zealand.

Intern Duties

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

1. Maintaining and strengthening relationships with existing customers via meetings, telephone calls and emails
2. Advising on forthcoming product developments and discussing special promotions
3. Checking quantities of goods on display and in stock
4. Gaining a clear understanding of customers’ businesses and requirements
5. Making accurate, rapid cost calculations, and providing customers with quotations
6. Attend training and to develop relevant knowledge, techniques and skills
7. Adhere to health and safety policy, and other requirements relating to care of equipment
